These are extraordinary times. Many of our clients are elderly with vulnerable health conditions.
At Magic Touch, they are our priority. We conduct continuous checks on all our caregivers to make sure they are in constant compliance with the CDC safety guidelines.
Our caregiver training and constant check-ins include the following:
- They are reminded of consistent hygiene practices including their own personal hygiene. This also means maintaining sanitary conditions inside the client’s home.
- They are required to wear face masks all the time to protect themselves and the elderly client they are caring for.
- Our caregivers have been advised to stay away from public gatherings.
- They have been instructed to immediately inform management of any symptoms or if they suspect exposure to those who show symptoms of infection by the Covid19.
- In this situation, caregivers will be quickly relieved of their shift and will be replaced by another qualified caregiver. Voluntary quarantine of 14 days will be implemented.
- We are prepared to arrange for Covid19 testing as needed.
